Meet Your Dentists in Newtown, CT

Dr. Garrett Golisano is a native of North Salem, NY, and currently resides in Stormville, NY, with his wife and their three sons. He received his undergraduate degree from Marist College in 1997, graduating with honors. While he attended Marist college he was a member of the Men’s Division 1 Soccer Team and was named captain his senior year. Dr. Golisano then went on to receive, with honors, his DDS from State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2001. Upon completing dental school, he went on to his residency at Danbury Hospital and has been working with Dr. Condon ever since. When not at work he coaches hockey and soccer and loves, along with his wife, trying to keep up with their boys on the ice, field or slopes!

Dr. James Flynn grew up in New Milford, CT, and completed undergraduate education at the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Minor in Microbiology. He was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2021 and subsequently completed advanced education, restorative and surgical training through Danbury Hospital’s General Practice Residency in 2022, where he is now on staff.

You may have already met Dr. Flynn as he has been an active member of our family here at Newtown Family Dentistry since 2011, starting interning as a sophomore in high school. He looks forward to continuing to provide a conservative yet proactive level of care that Dr. Dudley, Condon and Golisano have been delivering to the Newtown and surrounding communities for over 30 years. Dr. Flynn is committed to his mentor’s philosophy that dentistry is a lifetime of learning and has already began pursuing continue education to advance his knowledge as a new practicing dentist.

Dr. Flynn is a member of the American Dental Associate (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and Connecticut State Dental Association (CSDA). When not practicing, Dr. Flynn enjoys his time spent at the gym, fishing, cars, traveling, hiking, snowboarding and watching sports.

After many years of service to the Newtown area, Dr. Dudley has retired from active practice. However, you may see him pop in from time to time to visit patients!
